Rental Terms & Conditions

Driver Requirements

To rent a Vespa, drivers must hold a valid driving licence that legally entitles them to operate the selected vehicle under Italian law.

The vehicle may only be driven by the renter named in the rental agreement and any additional drivers expressly authorised by LarioRide.

Security Deposit

A security deposit of €500 is required at vehicle collection by credit card or another payment method accepted by LarioRide.

The deposit may be used to cover vehicle damage, missing accessories, traffic fines, administrative charges or any other amounts due under the rental agreement.

Vehicle Use

The vehicle must be used in accordance with Italian traffic laws and all applicable regulations.

The following are strictly prohibited:

  • allowing unauthorised persons to drive the vehicle;
  • using the vehicle for unlawful purposes;
  • participating in races or competitions;
  • driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
  • using the vehicle negligently or improperly.

Fuel Policy

The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at collection.

Missing fuel and any applicable refuelling charges will be billed according to the rental agreement.

Vehicle Return

The vehicle must be returned at the agreed location, date and time.

Late returns may incur additional charges. A fee of €20 applies for each hour of delay. Delays exceeding 3 hours may result in the charge of an additional rental day.

Traffic Fines and Violations

The renter is responsible for all traffic fines, parking charges, tolls and related administrative fees incurred during the rental period.

Damage, Theft and Loss

The renter is responsible for the vehicle and all supplied accessories from the time of collection until the vehicle is returned.

Any damage, theft or loss involving the vehicle, keys, documents, helmets or accessories may be charged in accordance with the rental agreement.

Accidents

Any accident, damage or incident involving the vehicle must be reported to LarioRide as soon as possible.

Rental Agreement

Before the vehicle is released, the renter will be required to sign the full rental agreement and related contractual documentation.

By making a reservation, the renter acknowledges and accepts these Rental Terms & Conditions.
